You will create the armature for the puffy center, create your own template, carve into dry metal clay and do bezel setting. This PMC, precious metal clay class, is designed to offer basic instruction in metal clay techniques. You will learn to roll, cut and texture your jewelry components to create your own unique pendant. You will attach your bail and inlay a CZ of your choice. The pieces will be kiln fired, tumbled to a high shine, and then add a patina to highlight the design elements of your pendant. There is a 45-minute break during the firing time which you may have your lunch. The class starts at 9:00 and will finish around 2 pm. -
Using Ice Resin students will learn to shape their own wire form and add tiny treasures to encapsulate them forever in a wearable piece of art. You will create two unique pendants. Bring a special treasure to add to your piece! Suggested items: photos, beads, glass, glitter, sequins, plastic toys, ribbon, buttons, dried flowers, leaves, grass, four leaf clover, twigs, sand, shells, pearls, pebbles, feathers, metal, wire, screws, nuts, watch parts, keys, etc. Minimum age: 10 years old.
