Using chain nose pliers, round nose pliers and wire cutters, students will create a pair of cluster earrings or 3 pairs of drop earrings while learning the Loop-and-Wrap technique. Your choice of beads and findings. You can also use this technique to make pendants, bracelets, necklaces, dangles and much more. Students will leave with a completed project. This PMC, precious metal clay class, is designed to offer basic instruction in metal clay techniques. You will learn to roll, cut and texture your jewelry components to create your own unique pendant. You will attach your bail and inlay a CZ of your choice. The pieces will be kiln fired, tumbled to a high shine, and then add a patina to highlight the design elements of your pendant. There is a 45-minute break during the firing time which you may have your lunch. The class starts at 9:00 and will finish around 2 pm.
