DESCRIPTION:Precious Metal Clay advanced class: Join us in our design studio\, with guest instructor Barb Hance\, for another great PMC class! Barb has been crafting precious metal clay designs for many years and as a returning instructor we are delighted to see this new advanced class. Prior PMC experience is a pre-requisite to make a stunning 2 sided pendant. As always we highly encourage our students to make your piece an original. Techniques taught will include carving into dry metal clay and bezel setting. \nThis is an all day class. There is a short break at lunch\, at which time your pieces will be fired in our kiln. You are welcome to bring your lunch and whatever beverage you may want through the day. Please arrive on time and be sure to bring any necessary eye glasses. DESCRIPTION:Rosary Necklace Class: Select your beads to create a meaningful rosary for yourself or a friend. In the Catholic tradition\, the sacrament of confirmation is almost as meaningful as that of Baptism. This day is when a Catholic consciously awakens to his or her faith by his or her own accord. The rosary is traditionally used to provide a physical method of keeping count of the number of prayers. The fingers are moved along the beads as the prayers are recited. Class fee is $ 25 + materials. Class time is about 1.5-2 hours. Basic beading knowledge helpful but not required.

DESCRIPTION:Guest Instructor: Mike Dennis \nCold Connections Level  2:  This class builds off information learned in Mike’s level 1 class using more complicated techniques and finishes.  Class will include but not be limited to folding\, making jump rings (using jewelers saw)\, different riveting techniques\, texturing and more complex assembling of pieces. You are encouraged to bring at least one project you are working on or would like to do that requires  the “how do I put this thing together now?”  Design is one aspect of jewelry making\, how to put it together is a whole other ball of wax! \nCompletion of the Level 1 cold connections class and some experience working with jewelry tools is encouraged. You will bring your own tools to class. Tool and material lists will be provided at time of registration. \nClass Time:  2 1/2 hours. Cost $48
